Red Unit is one of the old unit in NITOR. It started its journey during the inception of RIHD. This unit was previously headed by veteran orthopedic surgeons like Prof. Shamsuddin Ahmed, Prof. Faruque Reza Aolad, Prof. Ayjaz Ahmed Khan and Prof. SK. Nurul Alam and we are the descendants. This unit excels in Arthroscopic Reconstruction of Shoulder, Knee joints & ligaments, and Meniscus repair. Also Spine, Arthroplasty, Pelvic & Acetabular Reconstruction, UMEX and Ilizarov External Fixators.
